That sure ain't Clifford

Here's the colored version of our favorite prehistoric Kirby creation. Nothing fancy, but the colors really help the drawing "pop." As I'm at work, I have to wait until tonight to drop in the title and old Marvel header-type stuff. I'll repost when it's complete.

UPDATE: Okay, here's the final cover treatment. Thought about adding a caption, but didn't want to muddle the piece up anymore.

Speaking of Devil...picked up Devil May Cry 4 the other day. Haven't played much so far as I've had social obligations, but I'm enjoying it more than its previous incarnations. I'll review it a little more thoroughly after its completion.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Ahhh....that's one helluva nice job man! Came out great! As for DMC4 my friend just picked it up and says he likes it as well. Wish the funding fit for a next-gen system, cuz damn there's some killer games coming!!

I'm not trying to pimp myself, but I posted a new blog with some old work in it. Go on over for a chuckle! I'll be posting more thru the weekend and next week haha!

Thanks, Mike. Liked using the old school day-glo type colors for contrast purposes. Now if it only print outs that vibrant...

Yeah, the batch of games coming up has me worried. Luckily, they're spaced out so I can trade in the completed ones before the next game comes out. May try to get a few more levels of DMC4 under my belt tonight, but not holding my breath.

Peeped your old work and left you a comment or two. I may scan in some old comic stories I did back in college. You'll lose all respect for my artistic abilities...

I was watching a behind the scenes trailer for Star Wars:Force Unleashed and all I have to say is DROOL!!

That's my new refrain when someone asks me how I'm doing. "I'm five bottles smooth."

Thanks, Rene. Just printed it out and the office printer did the colors justice. Just gotta beat the entry deadline now.

Did you ever get results for the contest that you and Matt did together? If not, they sure take forever. This does look really good.. sorry I suck at compliments.

Rene, neither Matt nor I won the last contest. The Nova piece was contender in the voting, but I get the feeling that it's more of a popularity contest than talent. (Velocity Comics is right in the heart of VCU and I think the students like to take care of their own.)

That sucks. I think it ought to be anonymous. Though I guess people could still tell all their friends which one was theirs.
