Slow day

Nuthin' much going on today at the old office. Crappy weather. Had some snow earlier, which has turned to rain, which is supposedly turning to ice. This was about as exciting as it got. Tonight though I'll be penciling and posting some art for you.

Apparently it was snowing at 6am this morning when my daughter's school called to say that school was delayed two hours. I didn't get up to look. It was raining when I got up 2 hours later. I juggled all kinds of appointments around this morning because of 'threat of snow.' If I hadn't we'd have got a foot of snow. Lilah is so cute:)

Last night they announced some schools were closed today just because of the threat of ice and/or snow. It's sunny without a hint of ice or snow. Gotta love Southern living. Meanwhile, my parents got another two inches of the stuff. At least I got out of work early since Lilah's daycare closed due to the wintery threat. She wore me out, so much so that I didn't get any drawing done. Hoping tonight will see another panel or two pencilled.

Yeah, Lilah's a bit of a heartbreaker—with or without her eyes open.

I just got into work about an hour ago, its 7 degrees out...here.
I think its the coldest its been around here...I know, which isn't saying much...
I'm originally from Chicago, I should have a backbone, but the summers here kill you, leaving winter to feed off your carcass...;)

Where are you? Its 39 here now (the high was only supposed to be 38) and its only going to get colder. They say it might snow today. I'm a little skeptical. 7 degrees is pretty cold.

The Il side of St. Louis...well, about 20 min. from it...I knew it was cold the moment I sat in my car and looked at the temp read...it said "ICE"...lol...does that when it is frozen over...but once it warmed up, it read 7...

Oh that's right - you live near the kid that was possessed. Sometimes I forget who is who. Sorry. it actually snowed here today. Its beautiful outside. But not very cold either though -well not like I would think it would be for snowing. I think it got up in the 40s today despite what the weather said.

Gotta love the way schools jump the gun, but when they don't that's when there's like 2 feet that falls. It's the weekend now and they were calling for snow here in dirty jersey, and while I was looking forward to it, it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. That's one adorable little girl you gots there!

Suze and I just got back from a day in Williamsburg (about 40 or 50 miles from here) and they got two inches or so of snow. We were so excited and raced home to see our neighborhood covered in snow...and we got nuthin'. Richmond is so weird.

Yeah, we got all the cold weather, but no snow...the van read 3 degrees outside while I drove to work today...but i was talking to a friend still up by Chicago and he told me it hit negative 1...it froze his coi pond over along with the pump in it...

Wral.com says Durham got a half an inch of snow. It snowed all day from about 2pm to midnight or so. I guess it was too warm to really accumulate. But the ground is still covered this morning.

Yeah, our "Richmond Bubble" which seems to keep all snow and wintery fun away. We did luck into a light dusting on Saturday, which has been lingering a bit. Bitter cold this morning. Lilah looked like the brother in A CHRISTMAS STORY,
