Thanks, Mike. Think I'm starting to get back to where I wanna be. Debated on whether or not to ink her last night. Part of me wanted to use the brush marker and the other part wanted to use a brush. Opted on not mucking up the drawing and posting the pencils. Tonight inks and maybe another character.
i dig this chick! she's very easy to want to follow--into her adventures, i mean!
i do that realistic/cartoon-y dance all the time. i don't have the know-how for all the perspective and proportion, and anatomy that goes with the realistic, so i always end up cartoonin' it... although, sometimes my cartoon-y stuff has a bit of realistic in it...
